"The room was clean although quite small. If we lay down our large suitcase we couldnt open the room door. Getting into the shower was a little difficult as it was a smallish shower screen. "

"This is one of my favorite hotels and I plan to come back again. Great location and wonderful staff, I felt safe walking in the area, and public transportation was very convenient. I really appreciated that if I didn't want to go out to eat, I could go downstairs and have a delicious casual meal in the bar or a more formal one in the restaurant. Can't recommend it enough. "

"The hotel is very convenient, easy walk from T2 & 3 at Heathrow and I enjoyed the stay there during a recent trip. We spent a total of 5 nights both before and after a journey to Australia. The room was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was good, perhaps not as varied as some other properties but good. My only concern was being charged a 25.00 GBP fee for checking in early after our arrival from Australia. Although a room was ready at 9:00 AM we would have been charged 50.00GBP to check in then, waiting until 10:00AM reduced it to a fee of 25.00GBP which we did after flying 24 hours. I don't have an issue with a late checkout fee but if a room is ready on arrival, I feel those fees are too high. Also, I am a Hilton Honours member and stayed a total of 5 nights at the property. We also paid an early checkin fee on our first arrival from Canada and a late checkout fee on the day we departed for Australia. While the staff were pleasant, I feel it was crazy to make us wait in the lobby for an hour when the room was ready. Just as another note, we checked out very early on our departure date but no consideration was given for that early checkout."

"Rooms are clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast included with traditional English, porridge or scrambled eggs. Cereal and fruit also. Close to transportation links and walking distance to many attractions. Great place to stay if visiting London. "

"Horrendous stay. Hotel was full of exchange students who spent the whole time screaming and running up and down the corridor. Banging doors and running from room to room. This continued until after 1am. Then started again at 5am. Reported to the hotel staff but made no difference. "

"Horrible experience. No elevators, no luggage trolleys. Their security staff( Mr. Abdi) refused to assist me with my luggage. I have bad knees and I was made to climb a flight of stairs to get some ice cubes because Mr. Abdi refused to assist me. There were some exceptional staff( Samantha. Moustafa, Sachiel). I had asked that the hotel manger, Mr. Gil Monsalve call me so that I coukd lodge these complaints but it has been 3+ days and I have not received a call from him. I would NEVER stay at Thistle Heathrow T5 Hotel ever again. There are always options in life.Thanks."
