"Very clean and spacious rooms, especially for NYC. You can't beat the location: a couple blocks from Times Square, a couple blocks the other way for good eats, Times Square Diner around the corner, Carnegie Deli location, small delis, and more. Easy walk to the theatres - took me 6 and 10 min respectively to get to Music Box to see Giant and Winter Garden Theatre for Death of a Salesman. There is a small kitchenette area with microwave and fridge which is great to have.
Criticism: No coffee maker in room - they have a coffee station off the lobby only open for a few hours in the morning. There are 2 main elevators in the lobby, and on this trip one was not working.,Fortunately there are 2 elevators at both ends of each hallway on every floor. It got quite full and busy during certain parts of each day which meant a little wait, but they were working on it."

8/10 Good
"Great location close to everything in midtown and the subway. A basic hotel, small rooms, comfortable beds, efficient house keeping. A little dated but clean. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful."
"The hotel is older but the rooms are really nice. Great location right next to the subway. Staff was really nice, great gym, and the tick tock dinner is awesome. Great food!"
"The hotel was excellent. The morning breakfast crew was exceptional. The only downside were the rooms were rather small and tight. Otherwise, excellent front counter staff, great location, and overall excellent stay."
