"The room was totally different than what’s advertised here. A garden view room has literally NO view at all. Welcome drink was served in a cracked glass. Bed pillows were very uncomfortable. Basic toiletries were not there in the washroom. The tap water was disgustingly smelly. No consideration about hygiene. Not going to recommend this hotel to anyone.
Also, the hotel advertises that it has a private beach where as none of the hotel at this particular island has a concept of private beach....

"I recently stayed at OBLU by Sangeli for my honeymoon, and I can confidently say it was the best experience I’ve ever had at any resort.
From the moment we arrived, the level of care and attention to detail was exceptional. Safwan at The Courtyard went above and beyond every single time we dined there. He always ensured we had everything we needed, checked in to make sure we were happy with the cuisine, and even surprised us with thoughtful gifts before our departure. His personality and kindness truly elevated our stay.
Niheart gave us a wonderful introduction to the resort, showing us everything it has to offer. Knowing it was our honeymoon, he organized special surprises and memorable private dinners that made our trip feel truly unique and unforgettable.
The chefs, Roni and Vijay, deserve special recognition. Every day, they personally checked in with us, ensuring we enjoyed our meals. They even prepared customized dishes based on our requests. Their talent, creativity, and hospitality were unmatched.
Our villa host, Kaiom, took incredible care of our room. He was always prompt and respectful, making sure everything was spotless. On top of that, he went the extra mile by decorating our room beautifully with surprises that made our honeymoon even more special.
As for the resort itself—it was like living in a dream. The honeymoon suite was breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life right beneath us. Snorkeling with sharks and colorful tropical fish"

"Had a wonderful stay at the Taj coral, Hussain was very helpful with all the food options and Russell kept the rooms spotlessly clean, Staff very friendly and excursions were good.
Overall a smaller resort than others with a good friendly feel. Great views, nice and quiet and excellent for relaxation."

"From the first moments of welcome all the way to our last boat ride back - everything was truly spectacular. This was our third time in the Maldives and definitely the best. The quality of service is quite unparalleled- every staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful and competent. We felt right at home.
The hotel was a perfect combination of family friendly without it feeling too much of a family resort. Our beach villa was spectacular - spacious, great facilities, and with thoughtful housekeeping service. We were also very happy with the morning and evening buffet and overall the quality of food and drink was excellent. The hotel’s water policy was also very guest friendly and it was so relaxing not having to worry about having to constantly purchase water bottles. We also greatly appreciate that we were able to both check-in early and check-out late - that is the type of service and guest friendliness that really makes Coco Bodu Hithi stand out for us.
Lastly, a big thank you also to the kids club staff and facilities. I would definitely recommend advertising the kids club more prominently on the website or on other booking platforms as that can be a motivating factor for other families.
All in all we had truly a wonderful stay. We would be happy to come back to Coco Bodu Hithi again soon. "
