"We really like this hotel. We come to Ames often because our child attends Iowa State University. We try to stay at the Best Western Plus University Park Inn & Suites when we're there. The rooms are comfortable, the lobby is nice, and the pool is good."

"Room and breakfast were “adequate” considering an older property. I had to make three separate phone calls to correct the overcharges made to my credit card although there were no incidentals purchased and the entire stay was charged the first night. Overcharges were eventually corrected after a few days, but not without a lot of perseverance and escalation to management and corporate. "

Their breakfast was wondeful with variety additions like strawberry pancakes, everything bagel etc. There are different restaurants and other amenities nearby. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Des Moines."
