"This was our second visit to Lumley Castle. Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable super-king bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast this time, the continental part was very good but the full english was a bit disappointing unfortunately, we would have the waffles next time as they looked amazing. Will definitely stay again."

"Was amazing great comfy bed i slept in the last morning thats how comfy it was. Room very clean indeed. Breakfast amazing and staff were wonderful couldnt ask for any thing better would highly recommend 👌. Location was excellent too. When working away again would definitely stay again. "Had a lovely stay here. Welcoming staff on arrival, clean , comfy and spacious rooms, a better than expected gym, and nice food. The rooms were cosy and had everything required, free toiletries in the bathroom which was a nice touch. The gym was great considering it was a hotel gym, lots of equipment and free weights. Didn’t use the spa but looked more than good enough and clean. Ate here for breakfast and evening meal. Wasn't a massive menu but a good selection and was enjoyable. A little longer wait between courses than preferred but was quite busy. A special mention to Wendy on reception. Very welcoming, informative and above all a lovely lady. "
