"For the price, it is a great deal. Large units with two nice pools. Just be prepared to turn down the Time Share meeting solicitation when you get the pool key and you will have a fabulous time. "

"Seamless check in plus we got two free mai tais! The room was clean and more than adequate. The property is prime location on the beach with a great view of the sunset from the bar. We only used the hotel for a partial day between mandatory condo check out and a late night flight. The staff were helpful in every respect."

"Beautiful scenery and ocean view. Pleasant atmosphere. Staff at the resort property were not so great. Couple staff members were ok. Every thing is pretty close by. We needed a car for sure to go around. The property was nice and spacious but the staff could have done better job in keeping the place more cleaner. The cleaners at this property who cleans at Ashton Kona by the sea doesn’t have hygienic cleaners. I had to tell the staff to come and clean it up. The staff are a little ignorant about cleanliness. All in all we had a great time at the balcony, rooms. Good kitchen except for the sink area, still needs updated kitchen. Bath rooms are out dated, furnitures are all outdated. Ocean view was the best and the garden and pool area were all fabulous. Outside sitting area was great at the resort. Kailua Kona and the near by towns and restaurants the beeches and the Mother Nature is one of best in this big island. The turtles in several beeches. Lots of corals and sea creatures were awesome and has the best snorkeling and swimming beeches. Super place to visit for relaxation. Hawaii National volcano park and caldera and we went around to see almost all the beeches and to different towns and small sailing in the ocean, coffee estates, farm lands, rainbow falls, in Hawaii you get awesome fresh fish and almost all kind & varieties of restaurants to eat. It’s worth money spent. It was a memorable trip with my family. Loved it. "

"Room was clean.. staff was friendly.. breakfast was good.. one day was chicken sausage and another day was Portuguese sausage.. only thing is, I must’ve missed the information where parking is $15 per day.. overall.. it’s in good walkable area.. "

"The pictures on Expedia are not actual pictures of the resort. There are similar features but not the features pictured. There is one breakfast place that always has a wait and very limited menu or very expensive buffet. Parking is ridiculously expensive but having a car is necessary if you don’t want to go broke on the limited food options in the resort. The resort is huge and requires a lot of walking, but we enjoyed it. There are definitely additional amenities that could be added to the rooms to make them more useful. Things like a privacy curtain for the door, screen for the door, toaster oven, or hot plate. Overall the resort is clean and nice! "
