"We always love our time at Royal Kona. The staff is awesome. Sonclose to everything in Downtown Kona. If you want to be able to walk to the tourist core of kona, this is it. Spring for Ocean view, it changes the experience dramatically. We live here and go for a staycation. We go from restaurant to restaurant and meet people and have drinks and apps after some adventure during the day. Then walk back to room. If you are after a higher end resort and want to stay on property then head out north to Kona coast and one of the fancier resorts."

"The location is superb and the property very well maintained. The staff of this resort was helpful and very well equipped. There are beaches and a shopping mall in easy walking distance. Snorkeling equipment is available at the resort. In short this a complete vacation package, would definitely return"
