The location is very remote with stunning walks, a five minute walk from the beach.
You need to be organised as there is nothing there, when we went 10 years ago we had a fabulous breakfast in the manor. Now you fend for yourself, there is a fridge but it is a mini fridge so we did a load of shopping but then couldn’t get it all in the fridge. It also has a kettle. The fridge as well as being very small was also rusty inside and very wet and the draw was missing. The kettle was brown on the bottom.
There were a lot of cobwebs especially down the sides of the sofa.
The furnishings in the bathroom were very rusty. The shower was a wet room style but it made the whole bathroom wet and the bath mat was made of plastic so just made the situation worse.
The bed was comfortable
The outside furniture was covered in bird poo
We had no communication with the owners
They did show some people round the other properties while we were there but we were made to feel uncomfortable because they couldn’t come into ours because we had booked it. The lady of the house was also extremely rude to us on the lane out of the property when she had to reverse 10 meters (we would have had to reverse 100 metres)
You need nerves of steel to go through the lanes to get there.
Garden Centre is great. The pub is ok
Great location but we would not return.
