"I paid extra to book a Harbour View room but the room overlooked the ground floor dining area with air conditioning on its roof. The carpets and upholstery are worn out in places. We came back at the end of the day to find that the room had not been cleaned and then were told that we should should hang a sign to have the room serviced, which wasn’t told at check-in. "

"Property was a bit aged but close to the area shopping mall. Location is OK considering going onto a cruise then next day. Most disappointed is the breakfast. Cold, dry and no varieties. The option is the food court inside the mall with McDonald’s. "

"Stayed for a wedding which was fantastic all around. The grounds are incredibly scenic and the house is lovely. Had EV charging which was handy to leave with a full charge. Room was clean and tidy and everything we needed. Breakfast was really good, great selection and well cooked. Would stay again"

"Great location for catching cruise departures at City Centre and Horizon terminals. Sue at check-in was very professional and courteous. Only issue was trying to figure out how the heating in the room is designed…but, it was easily sorted with a call. "

"Vastly overpriced and understaffed for what it is. Reminded me of a 1970's idea of what a reasonable hotel was. Positives: the staff are great but not enough of them. If they're on minimum wage it's criminal, they were so busy and deserve a LOT more. Negatives: Executive room, really? Separate toilet and bathroom with 1970's rendering on the walls. The TV is one step up from Cathode ray tubes, no casting here! Air con? Nope, you get a fan, in any colour as long as its white! Restaurant, apparently opens at 6pm but no-one there til 6.45. Gave up and went to the local Italian. Breakfast, nearly £20 per person and one, yes 1 Coffee machine for a restaurant that looks like it accommodates 100+. We waited nearly 15 minutes for Coffee by which time our breakfast was cold. The hotels one and only redeeming feature is it proximity to the docks. That's it. And at £260 per night per room you know it's a scam. Avoid, stay further out of town and use the short stay car parks by the docks."

"Picked this hotel as a stop off for the ferry to jersey. Had everything we needed. Breakfast really good. Had to pay for parking which we didn’t really appreciate."
