"Its always lovely to stay at the Langstone, but I think its starting to feel a little tired. The rooms, whilst clean are a little rough at the edges, they show wear and tear, this is the second time I have stayed that my TV didn't work properly, plug was a poor fit for the bath. Though have to say the beds are always very comfortable The location is perfect and the reception staff are always excellent, but I do find the bar and restaurant staff a little lacking in enthusiasm. The menu is expensive for very average quality food, and I seldom eat there, the bar is ok, but lackluster service. Spa is a bonus, and I have always found the staff there really helpful. Overall, its a pleasant stay, but could be an amazing stay with a little more care and attention"

"what a lovely place. I had all sort of problems getting there due to train cancellations and ended up driving. It meant that I was going to arrive later than planned, however, I still received such a friendly welcome that it made everything worth while. The hotel is lovely with exceptional staff and I could not recommend staying here highly enough. I will definitely be staying here whenever I am in the area."

"The staff was probably the most friendly we have had in all the hotels all over the world that we had stayed so far…very helpful, we asked for 4 additional pillows as the ones we had were a bit flat for our liking and we got them straight away,the breakfast was great just wished there was an option of poached/fried egg but everything else was great…the only downside for us was that the room carpet had some really bad stains and we couldn’t connect our phone to the tv to watch Netflix or sign in to our account…everything else was amazing …definitely recommend staying here and we also visited Hayling island as it close by ."

"What a great find at this lovely Victorian building! The staff, from check-in to restaurant and room change folks, were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed a Friday to Monday and read that there was no breakfast on Saturday and Sundays! We needn’t have worried as there was free breakfast included at the Blooms restaurant the hotel. My husband enjoyed a traditional breakfast but I tried out a few like the Green Breakfast that I’d highly recommend. It also had a full buffet. The clean and tidy room was a little compact so next time we will have a deluxe. There’s also a small fitness studio but we didn’t use that. The Blooms restaurant had a lovely ambience with flowers and blooms everywhere. Staff members were very friendly and you felt like you were with old friends. It’s also open to the public. Afternoon teas looked delicious and we had some of their cakes which were awesome! They have an area of the restaurant that is used for classes and there was an art class going on. We ate breakfast and an evening meal there which was scrumptious! My husband had the Lemon Confit Chicken leg with asparagus and roasted new potatoes. I had the Pulled Pork Focaccia Burger in sweet-chili and BBQ with rocket and pickled red onion with a side of coleslaw, potato salad and tzatziki dip. Absolutely delicious and I couldn’t finish mine as it was a large meal. I’d highly recommmend a stay here and there’s plenty of free parking."
