"Detail: I don't normally leave reviews but if I can help someone out, I hope this is it. Make sure to CALL BEFORE you book online and confirm if there is water. It is a basic human need but yeah, no water in the area during our 3 days there. It ruined the weekend but the staff could not do much. Fault should be placed on the owners to make sufficient back up plans for their Paying staff.

"We booked the morning of our stay and when we arrived they couldn't find the booking. We were given a room while it was sorted out. The room was large and light with balcony and stunning views of the dam. A few touches like water in the fridge would have been nice. Breakfast was very disappointing. With a few tweaks The Shore House could be fabulous."

"We had a comfortable stay. The breakfast at Khayamanzi was by far it's best attribute. The Dstv signal was very poor... considering that we don't get to watch movies and we just wanted to relax and watch a good movie but couldn't. If you have kids under 4 years old, make bedding arrangements because although the website may not charge you for kids, it doesn't give you options for their stay... Which means you would have to then pay for their stay as an older child."

The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The parking was secured and very safe too.
Parking at the bottom where I'm enjoyed park there, due to the pillars the security was thereto assist with the parking and can you imagine that both male and female was helping to park. We're used to male doing that but it was amazing to see a lady helping directing me to park and other members too.

"I did not fulfill my stay at the accommodation. I drove from DBN as a single mum with 2 X 6 year olds. Arrived at 2:30pm. Room not available. 3:30 room was ready. The unit had an awful smell. No communication from staff. Toilet dirty. It was not livable. The Aircon did not work. Fridge and microwave was smelly. I booked another accommodation for the night in the area. I was declined a refund. I ask you to please consider a refund as I did not use the facilities or unit. The photos on website is not true. "
