The Birchy, Adventure Lodging by Base Hospitality Group
8/10 Good
"I love staying at Birchy. It’s a wonderful place. We stay there every time we visit Marquette. I was disappointed my last stay. I booked for 3 days, then checked out on my last day. We had a change of plans hours later and decided to re book at Birchy and stay longer. By evening we were back at Birchy and put in the same room we checked out 12hrs earlier. The room had a change of new sheets, and new soap and shampoo had been replaced. The same soap marks from our bar of soap was still on the bathroom tub, my daughter long hair still in the bottom of the tub. The toilet, sink and floor had not been touched. Only the mirror was cleaned. Even though it was my family’s remnant still left in the room. It was disturbing and disgusting to know that’s how the rooms are cleaned. Total bummer as it is our favorite spot. Other than that it’s a perfect location with fun amenities and beautiful surroundings"
North Coast Place

"The location was convenient for a wedding we were attending, but rather noisy from car traffic being right off US-41. Although the room with 2 queen beds was fine for a night or two, the photos included in the listing are very deceiving about the room space you are getting. We thought we would have a partial kitchen area, and when we walked in, we were very taken back by the size of the space. We managed just fine as a party of 3, but there was only about a foot of space from bed to wall around all sides, and the door of the full bathroom was hitting on of the queen beds. Again we managed, but it wasn’t what we expected from photos. The property was very clean and organized, snacks and boxed water left bedside was a nice touch which we appreciated."

"My bed had a tripping hazard. A piece of metal protruding from under the sheets from the frame. Be careful."

Hampton Inn Marquette/Waterfront

"The Hot Tub and Pool were wonderful! And cocktails on our balcony as the sunset made for a perfect stay."
Autrain Motel

"Most people wouldn't like it, it's very dated but we just slept there. I liked the 2 bedrooms for the privacy. Very affordable price for the area."
