"I had a regrettable experience during my recent stay at Baymont by whyndham in Harrisburg. Due to a booking mistake, we unintentionally reserved a regular room instead of an accessible one. However, upon realizing this error during check-in, we requested to switch to an accessible room to accommodate my handicapped husband's needs. Shockingly, the hotel staff flatly refused to make any accommodations or adjustments.
Despite our genuine mistake and the urgency of the situation, the hotel displayed a disappointing lack of empathy and flexibility. My husband struggled throughout our stay due to the inaccessible room, and the staff's refusal to assist us only exacerbated the situation.
I strongly caution against staying at Baymont by whyndham if you require any level of flexibility or understanding from the staff regarding accommodation changes. Their unwillingness to assist guests, even in the face of genuine mistakes, is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on their commitment to customer service."
