"Firstly, it's a good looking place in its original style, however, my room (basic single), I don't think was worth the price.
It was clean, but the amenities inside needed attention, and it had a damp smell. The Aircon also stopped working (batteries I think), but the guy was gone, so couldn't ask for new ones. Instead, with only a sheet on the bed, I had a cool night.
Breakfast was very good though, and quite varied, but the lack of interaction/interest from the staff made it more of a sterile place to stay, than a nice welcoming one.
Beware, it's tucked away in the old part of town, so if you have a vehicle, it's not easy to get to, even on a motorbike"
"This is a wonderful stay.
The people, the location, the facilities, were all great. Parking was a bit of a challenge but, the awesome guy at the front desk took care of all that. The wonderful manager lady was so charming and helpful. The owner was even there and helped me with travel advice in the areas I was headed to.
I did a 3 night stay and the room was good for me. The bed firmness was just right – I liked the pillows! The shower worked well and I always had hot water. My room was in the back and was very quiet. No street noise at all.
The breakfast is something else. So much food, good food, and those homemade sweets, it sets the day right.
The location is perfect for Bazaars, points of interest, and restaurants.
If I’m back through this area, this is where I’ll stay again."
"Very cute local feeling hotel with beautiful mosic wall art yet it felt upscale. Typically local old world feels also come with outdated amenities but this hotel didnt. Ice cold AC, beautiful bathroom and soft beds. The Sira Gessi is a must as well."
"Cute, relatively newly opened boutique property. THE STAFF IS PHENOMENAL! Breakfast was more than plentiful. Very central location. Would absolutely stay again."
"At first, I had some doubts about the location and the surroundings; honestly, my first impression wasn’t very strong. However, as my stay went on, my opinion completely changed. The peaceful atmosphere, the comfort of the place, and the overall vibe really draw you in. As time passed, I felt better and better, and when I was leaving, I realized how much I had actually enjoyed it. Everything was very well-organized, clean, and comfortable and don’t forget to try their breakfast :) . Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely choose this place again, it’s totally worth it. Never judge a book by its cover."
