"Run away from the "KIng William" room 109 and Expedia. The shower controls were not working. The on/off control was not working so as you turned it, it went from off to trickle to off and anywhere in between. The hot cold went from cold to maybe warm, to off to trickle. What the heck. The second night I was allowed to go to room 106 so that I could take a better shower... newer controls but no hot water at all. On to room 105 with a working shower. If we had booked the place ourselves, we could have had a refund and left. We felt like we had no option to leave because there was no one to talk to at Expedia. the walls in 109 were also paper thin. We could hear the people next door as if they were in the room with us even though they were using a conversational volume. We even knew when they blew their nose. The second morning we left without even eating our "free" breakfast ~ that's how badly I wanted to get the heck out of there. I do have to say, though, the staff did what they could and were very friendly. I will never book thru Expedia again."

"The breakfast menu was varied and it was on a pre-order basis. Full English breakfast was excellent and well presented. The portion sizes on all the meals were big. Best evening meal was their steak and ale pie. Jake, our host was very welcoming, polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. All the other staff were very friendly. The actual pub is situated quite central to all the local attractions around the area."
