"This place is a dump! To be fair, it is possible the main building in their pictures may be nice. However, we were given a room in the old run down building next to the building they have pictures of. I did see one picture of the old building but it’s so close up I didn’t realize there was a whole other side. If you want to stay in a dirty, run down hotel/motel, away from cool things to do and see, this is the place. The river is right outside but there are no tourist attractions from that point. It is by far the worse hotel I’ve stayed for as much as I paid. I made the mistake thinking close to the river would be cool and that paying what I paid it would’ve been nice. I was sadly mistaken!"

"The exterior of the hotel and lobby is beautiful. We stayed in room 400 and it desperately needs a refurbishing. We opened the door to our room and had a conference room table and white board to our right. My room had a window and three doors (two double doors and one to a hallway). My sister's room did not have a window. The bathroom in my room was in need of tile repair. The couch and carpet in the main room was stained. Overall, disappointed for the price we paid. "

"This place was absolutely not worth the $1500 for 2 nights that we paid the room was by far the worst in the inn constant noise we had 2 guys talking outside our window the room above was loud it was quiter standing outside the staff listen but didn't do anything to solve the broblem they charged a amenity fee but no amenities not even a alarm clock they told us at check check in that if you don't arrange your stay directly with the hotel you don't get any special consideration. The so called roof top resturant was awaful we went and quite frankly we left with getting anything we will definitely not go back extremely overpriced for forwhat it is"

"We loved our stay at the Harborview Inn. We were there for Mother’s Day weekend. The staff was great, having breakfast included was a big plus, and the room was large, clean and had amazing water views. It was close to everything. Just walk out side and you have waterviews and cvs walk to the batter, rainbow row, city market and King st..etc.. We walked to all of our destinations, the entire weekend. We have an electric car, they had a charger so we didn't have to stop on the way to Charleston or on the way home. It was a big time saver. I would recommend this to all of my friends.. we would stay there again.. "
