"Great experience! Impressed by the facility and services by the staffs. We arrived Arima Onsen by bus, I happen to saw the hotel bus was outside, and the staff was so pleasant to pick us up. By the way, bus station and nearby tourist information center all provides free call service for you to request hotel pick up. During our 2 days stay, we used hotel’s free shuttle service to town and to the Rokko Ropeway. Really impressed by staffs great help! Breakfast was very generous. They delivered the whole set to our room. Free drink at the lobby all day. Laundry facilities is very clean! I booked premium Japanese room. Only to find out that my 80+ mom had hard time to get down and up. The front desk staff help me to switch to a Japanese & western room. The room is very good size in Japanese term. Clean and comfortable. I do not need room cleaning the next day, but the staffs still provide us with a new Yukata and new water bottle. The best of all, is the onsen. This hotel has 8 private onsen, with the famous silver and gold hot spring. Clean and good size, with green hill view. My mom’s shoulder pain is relieved after soaking. Magical spring!"

"We stayed in Room1153 by elevators with self-serve laundry on the floor 300yen wash, 100yen per 20min to dry. Water filter for drinking water by elevators-great alternative to bottled water. Unfortunately it is down alot so purchased water at supermarket. Room had an air filter. Beautiful hotel behind the train station and above a shopping mall with Hands dept. store, 24hour supermarket, 7eleven, food court in basement, McDonalds, Matsuya fast food 24hrs, Don Quixote and Pachinko, Uniqlo, Daiso ,100 yen drug/discount store for everything you need all close by. Slippers provided. Amenities such as combs, razors, toothbrush/toothpaste, even facial cleanser/toner/moisturizer samples, instant coffee and teabags provided in lobby in self-service area by check-in. Microwave in lobby. Fridge and hot water boiler in room. Don't need anything else. Pack lightly and enjoy the proximity to the the trains. Full room cleaning is done every 3 days unless you specifically want it done that day. In that case you must leave the room by 11am to allow cleaning crew to do a thorough cleaning. Only complaint was that we should have more laundry machines-a change machine would help, water filtration system was down alot and fridge was not cold enough. Other than that we enjoyed our stay with clean modern rooms and being next to the trains were the most important issue for us. Rooms were tiny so opening a large luggage was impossible. Carpets need cleaning."

"Everything was great. The Public Bath on the 13th floor was the main reason I booked and it did not disappoint. The only two things (and I’m American so Japanese wouldn’t mind these) was the pillow (Japanese style, so my neck was very stiff the next day) and the fact that the AC is not controlled in the room (I believe it is centrally controlled throughout the hotel). I prefer colder than “normal” temps when I sleep. I would, even with that, stay there again!"

"The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The English speaking ladies were kind and patient with all of us. One was able to reserve a van to take us back to Shin-Osaka, with all of our luggage. Plus…the view of the river, in the traditional tatami room was beautiful. "

"If safety is a concern for you this is the place! We needed 2 different codes to get into the building and felt very safe. The location is good but it is near an elevated train line that will occasionally sound like low thunder, something to be aware of for light sleepers. Pros: * Security! We felt very safe here. * Clean * Good sized space and beds. * Really close to the train station and grocery stores. Cons: * Train noise * The sofa needs to be replaced. It was stained and wouldn't hold it's shape when you sat in it, just kind of fell apart. * Location isn't special, just basic. "
