Out dated. Unsure how this hotel qualified for Forbes 2026. The best thing is the lobby…. Rooms are out dated. Shower heads are old. Bath rooms are old. Not worth the price. Breakfast was trash and mainly American food.

The most amazing hotel I've had so far in Japan. Luxury tradition. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night, would've loved to stay longer.
Brought my 3 kids and husband, + my parents.
Super authentic experience, very clean, great amenities (everything smelled so good).
Great to be on the street across shops. The hotel welcomed us with tea and cookies as we waited for our room.
The front desk even said goodbye/bowed to us outside the door as our transit drive away.
Highly recommend. Will come back again.

I had a hard time adjusting the room to a comfortable temperature- I think it is very eco friendly so it took a long time for the room to cool off. Fortunately I had a water bottle with me for taking drinking water to the room. ..."
