"From the main reception, to the lift, to the room, all areas were filthy! The room floors were grimy, the windows and mirrors were filthy and we couldn't open the bathroom door fully as it was obstructed by the bath.
The only saviour for our stay was that the bedding and towels looked nice and clean (we noted that they were done by an outside laundry business)
It appeared that the room next door was being used by a prostitute, due to the amount of comings and goings and noise from the room!
The stay wasn't made any more welcoming when the fire alarm went off and the, I am assuming the manager, told his staff to "get them out of room 207 for smoking or call the police". This was said in front of many hotel guests, not very professional or discreet.
Had it not been the London Marathon we would have tried to get another hotel, but all were fully booked locally.
I would NOT recommend this hotel"
