"This was the largest room overlooking a lake that I've ever stayed in. You could put a small flock of sheep and not reach the bed My onlyshortcomingis the breakfast buffet. Not up to the level of other hotels I've been at. If planning a visit to Hallstatt keep in mind most vendors and restaurants do NOT take credit cards; cash only. Still a great place"

"The operation of the hotel is little strange. We had to leave very early to catch our train around 7:30 am. My husband went outside to load our luggages to the car. He couldn’t back inside. He had his room key with him. The door is locked on e you are outside and couldn’t be opened with a toom key. The staff inside the restaurant just watching him even gave him dirty look that gave impression “go away”. Luckily that i was still inside rhe hotel. He called me and i had to go down and open the door for him. He could be in danger if it happens during winter."

"The Hallstatt Hideaway is a beautiful spot. We stayed in a room located on the mountain with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was large but cozy, and came with a few drinks stocked. Communication was easy through WhatsApp to arrange sauna time, check-in, and checkout."

"Everything was amazing, unit, garden, amenities,checknin , check out , location. But the better and difficult to get i er was The service provided by the manager, Raja, was outstanding… it was a real pleasure; he is an attentive, responsible, and charming person. We are very happy with our stay."
