  • Taking the 3-Seen Tour of Grundlsee and the two surrounding lakes was a highlight of our honeymoon! Our visit was in October as the few leaves were just starting to turn and it was perfect. The shops and restaurants around the lake were mostly closed down as it was off season for them, but that added to the beauty of the quiet and calm. My happy place is always in the #mountains

The staff were amazing as was eveything about this Hotel. From the spectacular views to the walks surrounding it, it was amazing. Our room / apartment was huge and spacious with a wrap around balcony. If we had any criticisms it would be the pillows were slighty uncomfortable and that my wife did struggle with some food choices being Gluten and Dairy free (this seems to be the case throughtout Austria though). But the food we all did have was fantastic.

Nice hotel right by Grundlsee Lake, offering an amazing view. I had a room with a balcony directly facing the lake—it was stunning. The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of variety. There’s a bus stop right next to the hotel. I’ll definitely come again to enjoy a different view in the summer!

We happened to be at the Mondi during the storm Boris. We were very comfortable and warm, and enjoyed the bar and restaurant. We especially enjoyed the view of Lake Grundlsee and the mountains with snow.

This hotel is in a very beautiful area. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains and the room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The breakfast buffet was great and included in our stay. There was only one restaurant on site and you pretty much had to get everything from the restaurant such as any snacks, wine, etc. That would be my only knock on the hotel. It would have been nice to have a little market nearby on the property or at least a vending machine. Otherwise, we have no complaints whatsoever. Great place.

2 nätter i familjerum som var riktigt stort, rymligt och fräscht, det som lyfter hela upplevelsen är läget och utsikten precis vid sjön. Perfekt läge för utflykter. Detta i sig gör att man accepterar övriga småskavanker. I det stora hela en positiv upplevelse men finns brister framförallt i frukost erbjudandet som var virrigt och oinspirerande. Lång väntetid och slut på mycket. Spa avdelning medelmåttig.

Traumhafte Lage mit dem besten Ausblick am Grundlsee. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen - das grösste Aushängeschild des HOtels sind seine Mitarbeitenden, super freundlich, immer mit einem Lächeln auf dem Gesicht, super hilfsbereit und authentisch. Die Zimmer sind schön und gut ausgestattet, allerdings sind die Badezimmer schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und verfügten in unserem Fall auch in beiden Zimmern weder über Fenster noch Lüftung, die Umbauung der Waschbecken war recht abgenutzt und die Duschen nicht wirklich auf dem neusten Stand. Generell sind die Zimmer stilistisch eher dunkel gehalten und auch recht "alpenuntypisch" vom Design, worin aber ein gewisser charme liegt. Die Wintergärten haben am Zimmer haben wir sehr genossen. Man sollte wissen, die gesamte Anlage sehr gross ist und somit auch Reisegruppen hier absteigen. Das kann beim Frühstück schon einmal für etwas Unruhe sorgen und wir haben es daher vorgezogen, unser Frühstück immer recht spät (nach 9h) einzunehmen, damit wir hier etwas mehr Gemütlichkeit verspürten. Die Auswahl ist allerdings sehr schön, reichhaltig und einfallsreich. Lediglich die Eierstation schien mit der Anzahl an Reisenden an die Kapazitätsgrenze zu geraten ... Die Parkplätze sind z.T recht weit von den Zimmern/Rezeption entfernt, so dass es für Ältere oder Menschen mit Geheinschränkung sowohl aufgrund der Anhöhe des Hotels (auf dem Hügel) und der Entfernung etwas schwierig wird.
