"Me and my family stayed in this cottage for three nights in hallstatt. "Loved this cute inn, in the heart of Hallstatt. I thought not having a private bathroom was going to be an issue but it was not. There are two showers and WC’s and we’re available when we needed them. Staff was super friendly and offered to help with our luggage. I don’t recommend bringing large suitcases as there are two flights of steep stairs. We ate a quick meal there when we arrived and before we left and were satisfied both time. We loved sitting on our balcony and sipping some wine from the local store down the street and enjoying the views in the evening. There is a nice common area with a microwave, small refrigerator, tea kettle and instant coffee and tea available free of charge. Overall a great stay in a beautiful little town."

"The hotel was hard to find despite being in the Main Street in Golling. This was due to it being renovated and partially hidden by this. Entrance to car park is via a narrow passage through the building to the back which was a bit tight both the passage and the car park. Parts of the hotel that have been renovated are good but more needs to be done professionally. Once the reception was found the staff were helpful. The room was fine and clean, location good for town and country. Lots of local restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was very good.."

"Historic hotel was an excellent choice for a 3 night holiday. Loved the outdoor swimming pool which was very warmby the lake. Also very nice to test out the lake swimming pool next to it to get an idea of actual temperature. Breakfast was superb especially the made to order omelettes, fried eggs, real honeycomb and different assortment of breads including especially delicious cheese rolls. Waiters and waitresses were very attentive. A daily Rossl Post kept you informed of events in the coming 24 hours. We took the Schafberg cog railway up to the top of the mountains which was expensive but well worth it. Book ahead if you know it will be a sunny and clear day as it was incredible. Make sure you take good shoes with grip and go right to the top. The room of hotel was incredible and the view out on to the lake was breathtaking. Staff on reception were very attentive to your needs and when we turned up at hotel we were greeted with glass of prosecco. A nice touch! If the bank balance can take it, I shall definitely be heading back!"
