Hotel Posada Las Orquideas

"This property is beautiful and secluded from the town crowds. It takes a 2 minute walk to reach the restaurants and dive shops. Our room was spacious and had an ocean view terrace. Breakfast was at the cafe downstairs and both the food and the service were amazing. Highly recommend the rooms that have a mini kitchen."

"Attentive staff. Amazing beach view and sunset view. Hotel food was very good. Noise level was fine at night. Hotel had snorkel gear to use. Snorkel to reefs was very easy even for average swimmers with abundant fish and corals to entertain. So many diving companies all around the hotel. Great selection of restaurants walking distance. Boat taxis can drop off and pick up in front as well. Land taxi in front round about. I would stay here again."

"I really enjoyed the daily breakfast and the housekeeping crew was great! Our room was cleaned pretty much everyday which I really appreciated. The grounds were also really pretty and I loved being able to walk into town each day. The only downside, truthfully, was the lack of communication between the front desk and the dive shop. I was a bit caught off guard at the end when I was settling my bill. I got the things figured out but it was definitely a little bit of a headache."

"The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and plenty of space to spread out our scuba gear and hang up clothing. This 'resort' is located very close to the restaurants, shopping, and activities in West End. The access to the bay is the highlight! We went snorkeling and found lots of fun fish: juvenile spotted drum, scorpion, southern stingray, lionfish, and an OCTOPUS! When we did a night snorkel the octopus was out hunting. The cons: the mini fridge was a little small, no in-room safe for valuables, if you're on bottom level and ppl are smoking, the smell gets in your room, no coffee pot, no restaurant, no pool. We knew there wasn't a restaurant or pool so we came prepared for that. I brought instant coffee to make cold in the fridge, which I did. I also brought a knife to cut my own fresh fruit with collapsible containers for storage."

"AC was fine , staff was very friendly and I liked the place we're we stayed , Staff helped me with check in as they are in two different locals, that was a little bit unconventional and a quick fix could be made to accommodate customers easily , a snack and refreshment machine could be added for the time being untill a restaurant and bar can be added.Other than that every thing is with in a 10 minute walk.Main pool is excellent with plenty of room for swimming water was like bath water. "
