Hakone Kowakien Miyamafurin
Clean room, with cleaners able to come in whenever you ask at reception. Staff were kind - a little bit of a language barrier but that was ok because they had English copies of important documents. A good stay can be ruined by unimaginative people who behave loud after 10 PM. Such were my neighbours at my floor last night. The Fujiya Hotel
Beautiful building, very lovingly maintained. The staff were friendly but not always able to speak English properly. The whole experience had an air of 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' film: both in terms of grandeur and comedy value. Gym was very poor for a 5 star hotel.
