The rooms were very clean, the staff was super friendly and we communicated perfectly through messages. Loved having coffee in the garden, so cozy, green and nice.We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend.

Moe was setting up the hot tub when i arrived & checked me in. The ht was great. The location worked great for my travels & you cant beat the price. I look forward to my stay with Yonegans on Hilo the next 3 nights.

The property was cute and quaint. If using GPS, it was a little difficult to find. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The air conditioning unit worked. It would’ve been nice for the air conditioning unit to have been on when I arrived so that the room wouldn’t have been as hot, but that’s just a minor thing. The hot tub wasn’t working when I was there, but that was OK with me as I wouldn’t have used it, but if that’s something that you would pick the location for, you just might want to make sure that it’s working. The room had a fan on the ceiling and a table fan, which was nice addition along with the air conditioning unit. I would stay there again.

Very clean and spacious room. Convenient to road to Hana. Quiet area. Host was easy to communicate with. Only negative was the air conditioner was a little loud for me. Would book again.

The pictures of Haiku #2 are greatly misleading. It shows a lovely living area with comfortable furniture. What we found instead was only a loveseat. There were no chairs, unless we wanted to use a dining chair. The living room space was cavernous with only the loveseat and a small coffee table. The bathroom shows a double sink; the unit has a simgle sink. In the property description it says there is a queen size bed, but what's actually there is a full bed. A queen size would never have even fit in the very small bedroom. Very disappointed.

liked area right off of hana highway. did not like only 1 sink"had to wash dishes in bathroom". also sofa bed was brokendown and mattress pad was previously soiled and stained. was not usable for us.

It was so lovely. The only thing missing was a pasta strainer. My text messages and phone calls were answered promptly and I was given all of the right answers. We're from Virginia, and Hawaii has been a dream of mine since childhood. If I ever make it back, I will definitely stay here again.
