"Room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was comfy. The rooms could use a bit of a facelift, but that certainly didn’t take away from our overall experience, and it remains a great hotel. My only concern was the pool area. I think some level of supervision or periodic staff check-ins would be beneficial, especially since there is no lifeguard on duty. I’m completely supportive of kids having fun, being excited, and jumping into the pool—that’s part of the experience. However, there should also be respect for other guests sharing the space. I moved to several different areas of the pool with my 3-year-old to avoid a group of children, but they repeatedly followed and continued jumping right beside us, splashing him each time. It eventually made him feel scared and uncomfortable. Again, I have no issue with children having fun, but when other guests are clearly trying to move away and create some space, repeatedly doing the same thing becomes disrespectful. A little more supervision and encouragement of pool etiquette would go a long way in ensuring everyone can enjoy the facilities."
