"The moment I arrived at Ellena Resort, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was spectacular. I was greeted with a welcome coconut drink and was informed about the amenities. Waking up every morning to the view outside my room was breathtaking. I stayed in the largest villa with private pool. It had everything I needed and more. I ate at the restaurant “Papa Ubud” every day. Breakfast was more than filling and I enjoyed the fresh coffee and smoothies. I was able to rent a moped (which I highly recommend rather than a car) right at the hotel. The staff made me feel right at home even though I was halfway around the world. I was even able to meet the owner who was very sweet. On my last day I was invited to a once a year special ceremony in the village called “Mejarag”. After we were given a tour of the Luwak coffee plantation. I cant wait to book my next trip here. It was truly exceptional. Thank you 🙏"

"The staff was amazing! Everything from the arrival with dinner at 1 am to the check out was outstanding. They will arrange anything you need starting with pick up from airport to private tours. The breakfast was amazing and they offer in room every morning if you want. Property was immaculate and stunning! Highly recommend"

"This place is beautiful. Friendly staff, delicious food. This is a luxury experience, living among elephants. This property has 24 elephants that are well taken care of; each elephant is handled with care, feed well, washed daily, and treated with dignity. From every room, you can see the elephants. Its such a treat; treat yourself to escape to paradise. "

"The Kayon Jungle Resort is nothing short of exceptional. We were blown away from the moment we arrived. The resort itself is stunning (even better than the photos) with one of the most impressive pool setups we’ve ever seen — seamlessly blending into the jungle. The atmosphere throughout was quiet, tranquil, and incredibly relaxing. Our room was huge and absolutely gorgeous. All staff were outstandingly friendly and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed. A special mention to Putu Ari, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and Deni (our lovely driver) To celebrate the team surprised us with a beautiful flower bath and cake which was such a romantic and thoughtful touch. I received a birthday blessing whilst having a floating breakfast...AMAZING!! All meals and drinks were so delicious, and the evening entertainment was fantastic. The acoustic guitarist was incredible— he somehow knew every song we requested — and the traditional dancers were captivating and authentic. We also loved the yoga sessions in the breathtaking pavilion overlooking the jungle — a truly serene experience. The Spa was incredible and one of the best we’ve experienced, leaving us completely relaxed and refreshed. We loved egg painting with Ranazurana too. "Other than the beauty of the villas it was the little things: 1. Front desk staff took time to research questions they didn’t immediately had an answer to. 2. Staff noticed my mosquito bites on check in so included repellant with my turn down service the next day. 3. Never had I had my feet washed as a welcome. 4. Restaurant staff new our preferences after only one meal. 5. Staff apologized to me when it was my fault I missed a class/activity. There’s more but, go experience it yourself. "

"The staff was very helpful, friendly and positive. During my stay I felt like I am home. I was served breakfast in the room every morning. I got everything I needed and I asked for. I rented a motorcycle from the resort. It was in a very good condition. The communication with the staff was very easy through whatsapp, my questions was responded within minutes and seconds. I was very happy to be there"

"Room was very clean and modern. Staff was very friendly. It was a beautiful villa and very peaceful. Wish I couldve stayed longer. Only issue was the road that leads to it is very bad and my drivers had a hard time reaching it. "

"It's a very atmospheric place, and I don't regret staying there overnight. I can recommend it, but understand that this is a house in the countryside and there might be small insects in the room. The grounds are excellent, green and beautiful, with two parking lots, but they're small. The restaurant is tasty and fast. The specialty is the average portions. Breakfast is okay. The rooms are nice, plenty of space, and the toilets are decent. There were a few complaints about the bathroom. Cons: average soundproofing, creaky beds. Small insects are possible, but there are remedies for them. Perhaps the main issue is the very loud sound of cicadas, really loud and impossible to do anything about. They quiet down around midnight. There is a pool in the room, but the water is cold (for me)."
