"I travel to the island once or twice monthly for business. Sand Rose is my go-to stay, especially during the off-season when the sub $100 nightly rate fits my corporate travel budget. While not the least expensive room, certainly the best value on the island. After dozens of stays over the years, I’ve never seen a roach. Rooms are always clean. The included breakfast is top notch…I always look forward to it! Great amenities on site, but very well located between Clayton’s Beach Bar (largest in Texas), the Marriott, and the Hilton, giving lots of walkable options for dining and drinks."

"The manager was very friendly, very helpful. He helped us check in early since we had our 5 month old and pet. They even went as far as allowing me to store my breastmilk in there freezer and providing a crib. We will stay there again! Also have great rates!"

"We had a wonderful time. The room was spacious and clean, and the view was incredible! On the last day, after asking a question at the front desk, we were given a map. I so wish we had the map at the beginning of our stay. Other than that, our stay was perfect "
