Top Gulf Islands Hotel Reviews

Royal Scot Hotel & Suites, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

10/10 Excellent

"The Royal Scot is a fantastic location to the Inner Harbour in Victoria . Very walkable to the Bc Museum,Spaghetti factory,Miniature World and more. The suite was clean, large and well appointed with a separate bedroom, large sitting area with a couch and 2 chairs,a small dining table and 4 chairs and full kitchen.Everything worked as it should. The location was quiet as we were in the Manor side at the back. Free parking was included.Staff was very helpful and friendly. Floyd’s diner in the hotel, open 7-3 had great breakfast and fun decor, great staff. The only down side was that the pool and hotub were closed for part of our stay over the weekend. We would definitely recommend the Royal Scot and we would definitely stay here again."

Inn at Laurel Point

10/10 Excellent

"We totally enjoyed our two nights at Laurel Point, and may just have found our go to while staying in downtown Victoria! The entire stay was excellent top to bottom! It’s within easy walking distance to our favourite restaurants and stores, yet far enough away to miss the issues that are close by. Our room was great, comfortable bed and beautiful view of the water and the sea planes that depart and arrive as you watch them takeoff and land. The bathroom could be a little larger, but we are fine with a tub and shower curtain. Parking is secured and just across the parking lot, and there is also a secure bicycle area. We did not try the restaurant, but Duo supplied us with great Nanaimo bars at a fair price. We will most certainly stay again!"

Fairmont Empress

10/10 Excellent

"The property and amenities and staff are always excellent. One thing that did surprise me were the glasses in the room. The first day, they were broken and were replaced by another set of broken glasses. Perhaps they didn't look very closely but I was surprised. Thank goodness I looked as the second set were hard to discern the cut at the lip of the glass. Attention to details matter."
