"Overall, our stay was okay, but there were several issues that took away from the experience.
The positives first. The room was clean, and the common areas of the hotel were generally well maintained. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were friendly, polite, and professional.
However, the hotel feels quite outdated, and that became noticeable during our stay. The AC unit is inside the room, and every time it turned on it was loud enough to wake us up throughout the night. It made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
We booked an ocean-facing balcony, which should have been a highlight, and the view itself was nice. Unfortunately, our balcony was directly above rooftop HVAC units from the restaurant below, and the noise was constant and very distracting. It was loud enough that we couldn’t comfortably sit outside or have a normal conversation. On top of that, the roof below our balcony had visible debris and garbage, which really took away from the overall feel of the room and the price we paid.
The most disappointing part was overhearing another couple nearby discussing what they paid for their room, which was about half of what we paid for what seemed like a very similar setup. That left us feeling like we significantly overpaid and took away from the overall value of the stay.
Overall, while the hotel has some positives, the noise issues, condition of the property, and pricing inconsistency made the experience frustrating and not worth the price we paid."
