"I travel to the island once or twice monthly for business. Sand Rose is my go-to stay, especially during the off-season when the sub $100 nightly rate fits my corporate travel budget. While not the least expensive room, certainly the best value on the island. After dozens of stays over the years, I’ve never seen a roach. Rooms are always clean. The included breakfast is top notch…I always look forward to it! Great amenities on site, but very well located between Clayton’s Beach Bar (largest in Texas), the Marriott, and the Hilton, giving lots of walkable options for dining and drinks."

"The Amazing woman who checked us in had THE BEST most cheerful demeanor and you could just tell that’s the kind of person she is. I wish I could remember her name so I apologize but man she could lead the class on customer service and kindness. We loved our stay and will return when we can stay longer"

"The manager was very friendly, very helpful. He helped us check in early since we had our 5 month old and pet. They even went as far as allowing me to store my breastmilk in there freezer and providing a crib. We will stay there again! Also have great rates!"

"My mom and I came to the Island for a week get away! It was a very peaceful and relaxing place! The staff were friendly all the time! The breakfast buffet and menu options were amazing! Ate dinner there once and it was also great! It was in good walking distance to the Boardwalk which had some stores and lots of eating shops. "
