"A wonderful stay in a fascinating town. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast varied daily with fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese and a great range of breads, cakes and biscuits made by Lia. Home made jams too, including cumquat - what a treat! There is a sunny terrace on the top floor that is ideal for relaxing after a busy day sightseeing. We would love to return to this haven."

"At the arrival time (4:40pm) the heating was not working. My room was cold and the bathroom had no hot water. The staff came and after three and half hours, it has started working. I was moved into another room with hot water, but the heating was off. Still, the room was not warm till 8:15pm. The staff was supportive, but they should have checked the heating before my arrival. The location is great and the breakfast is offered at a small pastry (200m from the property)."

"Here is a rare find in the middle of Umbria just outside Citta di Castello. Area is agricultural, quiet and safe. 5 minutes away is the town with several supermarkets and clean laundry facilities as well as the 'castle fort' itself. Our room, Room 5, was large and clean. Arezzo and parts West, Urbino and Fano on the Adriatic within two hours car drive. Spacious parking. This is an excellent place to stay and a great central location to come back to."

"Che dire. Avete presente la perfezione? Ecco, il Vescovado è quanto di più vicino ci possa essere. A pochi metri dal centro di Gubbio, parcheggio privato e appartamento enorme con giardino ad uso esclusivo. Ho viaggiato con una famiglia di marito e moglie e due figlie: tre camere da letto, ognuna col proprio bagno, cucina, sala da pranzo e salotto. Ci hanno fatto avere un pass per la zona ZTL ed Elena ci è venuta incontro per condurci a destinazione. Colazione abbondante ed ottima. Davvero...

"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. "Great campsite, beautiful location and not crowded. Lovely pool, good playground and beautiful beach and lakeside area. Port at 1 minute walk with ferries to Isola Maggiore, Passignano and Castiglione. Tuoro train station at 5 minutes walk, so Perugia and Arezzo at 30 minutes. Albeit few trains stop at Tuoro. Two supermarkets at 10 minutes walk. Staff were brilliant; hard to persuade the children to leave the campsite. Overall, excellent and would consider going again! "
