"Great location and even though we were staying in the area to visit family the location to hwy 24 makes it perfect for getting to and from other close towns. Also being across the street from several gas stations and a nice Walmart as well as close proximity to several restaurants makes it a perfect location for just a few days or even more."

"Staff was wonderfully welcoming and friendly at check in. Room was spacious and clean. We had a ground floor room near and exit door and stairwell door- so that was noisy but I had a box fan that worked to get rid of the noise. Breakfast was hot and yummy. Coffee was delicious! "

"We recently stayed at The Read House hotel in Chattanooga and were very disappointed by how a serious cleanliness issue was handled. Ou our first evening, we found a live cockroach in our room. We killed it and immediately called the front desk. Someone to pick up the tissue with the bug, without saying a word and left. We never received an apology, follow-up or any acknowledgement afterward. At checkout, we mentioned the incident again to a different staff member, and she didn't react or apologize either, which lead us to believe that this was not an isolated incident and that the hotel staff is aware of the issue. For a hotel in this price range, we expect at least a basic acknowledgment of the situation and some reassurance that it would be addressed. This experience really affected our impression of the hotel."
