"Clean room, was very warm but a fan was provided. The bathroom is a little dated but works & the shower had good pressure so was nice & powerful. The breakfast was good, a buffet selection. The chap on reception was very friendly & helpful. Would recommend."
"Nice hotel, good location, Starbucks on site. Safe car parking.
Wouldn't let us check in half hour early even though our room was ready. Never had that experience before.
Comfy beds, great air con."
"I was visiting Abertawe for one night to see old friends and this was a great place to stay. Perfectly located in the heart of the city and just a short walk away from some great restaurants. The room had a luxury quality to it like the coffee machine and plump bathrobes. My only critique was the curvy headboard wasn’t very comfortable (I move around during the night and kept hitting my head on it!). The staff were lovely when I checked in - taking me and my case direct to my room. Wouldn’t hesitate staying again on my next visit!"
"Stayed for one night to collect son from Uni (Bay campus). Convenient location to Bay campus plus easy to get out to Waterfall Country for a hike and the Mumbles for breakfast. Close to waterfront marina for dinner. Room was great and perfect for one night stay. Only gripe was no aircon and it was a warm stuffy night."
You probably wouldn’t expect to encounter tarantulas, macaws and endangered tamarin monkeys in a Swansea retail park, but visit the spectacular Plantasia, a public hothouse in Parc Tawe close to the city centre, and you’ll find these and much more besides. Easy to locate, as it’s housed in a unique glass pyramid, Plantasia has for a quarter of a century performed the vital function of raising awareness among locals and visitors about the level of rainforest destruction around the world, and the dangers of the consequent biodiversity loss.
