Quality Inn and Suites Garden of the Gods

10/10 Excellent

"After reading so many negative reviews, I was apprehensive to bring my family to this hotel. We had our 4 grandsons (9 & under) with us. The room was PERFECT!! It slept 6 very very comfortably - 2 queens and a sofa pull out. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable as well as the queens. The pool was so much fun for the boys and relaxing for us. There were a lot of other kids playing in the pool so the kids had a blast. The front desk attendant was very business-like which was fine. She was very attentive and answered all our questions. She also stayed on top of the pool necessities so we never had to ask for towels which was great. The woman who checked us out was more charismatic and was thrilled when we expressed how much we enjoyed our stay. When we left my husband couldn't understand the negative reviews. And he is super hard to please!! When asked what the best part of the trip was for the boys, they all said the hotel and pool!! We will definitely use this hotel next time!!! Thank you!!"

"We like the overall hotel services, was well maintained (except for the pool area a seating area, it was dirty most of the time and the lounge chairs broken) Like the location of the hotel, Like the Interior design and the room size and configuration, (except the sliding bathroom door) and didn't like the bathroom water pressure, it needs to be more water pressure! Overall Excellent hotel, and we will stay there again soon."

"This place SHOCKED us! For what we paid for the evening and what we got, we feel like it was a bargain! And Dinna at breakfast did an AWESOME job. The amenities for families was great, and we liked it so much that this is where we plan to stay when we're heading back to Tyler, TX from CO. The only thing I would probably change is the temperature runs a little warmer, even when you've adjusted the thermostat, but I don't know if that's a maintenance situation they're already fixing or not. Oh, and the hose next to the stairs at the pool was a little "interesting" visually. All that to say, such a gem in the middle of the desert!"

"I loved that we had glass glasses provided, loved the lower beds and checkin/checkout was a breeze. I was a little worried having to get a parking slip, but they said not to worry about it as it was included with the stay. They also lifted the exit barrier so we wouldn't have to deal with getting out (key cards double as parking entry/exit)."

"It would have been nice to have interacted with front deskperson when we had to reschedule our shuttle due to a flight delay. My husband went to the lobby before our originally scheduled 6:30 am shuttle pick up, and no one was there. So he penciled us in for a later shuttle. When we came down to that later shuttle, we were told that the one he penciled in had been crossed out by the front desk because “she did not put it there.” And the shuttle was full. It would have been nice if 1) someone had been at the desk to help us reschedule our ride to the airport that morning and 2) if someone had made the effort to notify us that the alternate shuttle was full. Instead, we were admonished for adding ourselves to the shuttle list, and left to call an uber at the last minute."
