"We really appreciated the ability to use the laundry room. We used it twice during our stay. The rooms were nice with a beautiful view from the balcony, but definitely could have been cleaner ahead of our check in."

"Lovely local area - very authentically Italian. However 40 mins drive uphill from main Como lake and city, 25 mins drive to the local lake area advertised on site. Parking extremely difficult as busy with restaurant and the locals. Restaurants/shops nearby are delicious and very cheap in comparison to down in Como. Views are beautiful and the accommodation itself if nice. "

"Beautiful l, spacious and comfortable apartment above Piazza Costello with a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore. Apartment is a bit difficult to locate. Parking is limited and distant. Once we arrived at the apartment, our trip was most enjoyable. "

"Spacious apartment just a block from the waterfront and convenient to the funicular to train station. Grocery store across the street. "

"The property is two separate locations. It says its a two bedroom apartment and there is just a one bedroom studio. Its not clear which you are getting. The bed in the one bedroom which we got stuck with is really uncomfortable and there is no space to do anything in that room. I felt pretty frustrated as i thought the space was going to be bigger because of the pictures shown in the ad. "

"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

"Beautiful view from the hotel pool"

"The USP of this property is the amazing view down to Lago di Lugano across into Switzerland. There is also the interesting story about the old funicular railway to the rear of the hotel which closed in 1977 but may be refurbished and reinstated if funds can be secured. It is a rural location, about 20 mins walk from the nearby town of Lanzo d'Intelvi and the bus service from Como drops you about 400m from the hotel reception if you aren't driving. Rooms were not air conditioned but you do get a oscillating fan! Get a room with a view and you won't be disappointed "
