"Hosts were so hospitable. They were friendly and helpful throughout our one night stay. The apartment was clean and the breakfast was wonderful and in an ideal setting of a grand kitchen dining room. The location and accommodation oozes tranquillity and calm. "

The history and charm of the Chateau could quickly be felt upon arrival and did not disappoint for the rest of our stay! "Great location by the lake. But no reception there, no breakfast etc; everything was done via an adjacent hotel. The hotel seemed to be linked to at least two others and arriving on a Tuesday at around 6pm, the restaurants were already full with very few local options."

This listing does not state that this hotel is situated in someone’s house and that you have to walk through the owner’s personal living space and belongings to access the room. There is no front desk as all dealing were done in the host’s kitchen. There was no bar/lounge unless you joined the host and their family on the couch in their living room which would’ve...
