"The desk staff was fabulous. Check in was very smooth. We arrived after a long day of travel and when we’re checked in we were invited to the restaurant Babette. We took our bags to the room, cleaned up and went to Babette. But when we arrived, the hostess was very rude and nasty and would not seat us even though there were only three tables with guests. It was a blessing though, as we walked to La Boca and had a wonderful dinner and fun!"

The facilities are excellent including the wonderful breakfast. Staff so helpful. Can get the tram opposite hotel, outside station to Bordeaux Centre, just a 13 minutes journey. All round a great hotel for a base to see the sights of beautiful Bordeaux. Definitely staying at the Ibis Budget if back in Bordeaux."

The hotel is walking distance to the centre of Bordeaux, everywhere easy to reach by foot. Room was perfect, we stayed in Shakespeare which had a hot tub on the balcony. We had dinner from the tasting menu at the restaurant which was sensational. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bordeaux."

"The one lady on reception was really helpful and could speak English. The others on reception were not helpful and could not speak English. The property needs a good clean and needs a good paint. The Continental Breakfast included in my rate was great value for money. The rooms are not cleaned/serviced daily. The free toiletries was body wash only in the bathroom. You have to ask for extra towels and for loo paper if needed. There was sufficient parking."
