"Nice people, very kind! We had one very cold night. The cabin was nice. Everything good as far as getting what we needed the people at the desk went above and beyond. I loved getting to see the Dogs around. The shower was made for people 5’3” and below. Clean, friendly, kitchen area clean and nice. The price was very good! I think it was perfect just a rough start. "

The ceiling in our room you could definitely tell had leaked and we were glad that it didn’t rain during our stay. The door by the parking lot that we went into was not a locked door so that was a not good. "

"Staying at this hotel in the winter (off season) was not ideal. Too much snow, parking challenging, and hotel office closed. Room was fine, but no view of the lake. My room key didn’t work on my last day, so staff had to re-issue a new key. For winter, I recommend staying 7 miles north in town..Grand Marie…where there are more guests, better overall parking, access to businesses and customer service."
