"Shower doors weren't cleaned completely but the rest of the premises are fantastic! Great location. The host was more than accommodating and prompt and they were thoughtful enough to leave 2 robes for our comfort, which was greatly appreciated. My only suggestion: I get that it's winter and I'm a Canadian, but re: the hot tub is to maybe install a wall of some kind/wrap the 3 sides in winter to block the wind. I still enjoyed it in the blizzard! I also noticed that there wasn't a spare blanket in the room but I just turned up the heat and all was well. Overall I love the kiwi and will be back! "

"The pictures are deceiving. The actual finishes are not well done, and our room was on an obvious slant. We did not realize it was located above a restaurant. The noise was fine at night with the TV on, but loud early morning when our room was quiet and they were setting up for breakfast. Tried to have a shower. Cranked the controls to as hot as possible and the water was tepid at best. That happened when we first got there and in the following morning. The door stop in the floor by the shower is an accident waiting to happen. It isn’t secured to the floor safely and is centred in front of the entrance to the shower. The Smart Lock unlocked the door, but it would only open half the time. The location was great, but we will never stay there again."

"Staff, room the grounds, all was great"

"Not a bad hotel. Bathroom could use a ventilation fan to prevent musty smell and prevent bacterial growth. Possibly a tougher scrub on the shower tiles and re-sealing of shower surround. I think the heating boiler could use a service from Laskey's Services as only one rad was working. Hotel staff was very kind and decent on check in and throughout our stay. Room itself was clean and bed + bedding was okay. Overall, a fine place to rest your head and enjoy the town for a few days."

"The grounds and the winery here at Hessenland are beautiful. We loved being able to walk around and explore the gardens and lovely seating areas. The outdoor pool was a refreshing treat during this heat wave. The food and drink was fabulous and the staff wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We found the inn itself dated and tired looking. The rooms and sitting areas could use with an update and refresh like the rest of the property has had. On the whole though we enjoyed our stay."

"Our stay at this bed and breakfast was fantastic! The festive Christmas atmosphere made everything feel cozy and magical. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly and incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. I would definitely stay here again! "
