"Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. Breakfast is home made, fresh, abundant and soooo good!!! 5 stars hotel except this little village outside of Bologna is nothing special. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

"Wonderful location in the hills outside Bologna. Fantastic thermal spa pools. Nice food and great staff (reception speak english). The room was basic and definitely overpriced. 2 stars at best Euro 65 per night should be the price, in my experienced opinion. Noisy and drafty accommodation. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....

"My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. Rita, the owner, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The 2 nights we stayed she cooked us delicious & authentic homemade meals, complete with wine that is bottled on the property. "The hotel was undergoing work so the whole outside area was out of use which we wasn’t informed about also the air conditioning was switch off due to being out or season so sleeping conditions were hot and the breakfast was so busy with lots of food running out "

"Travelled to Bologna with family including a toddler for work. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was nice but small. Comfortable bed and nice sheets. Good sized bathroom. Breakfast was included and had lots of options. Very close to Bologna Fiere and restaurants, Aldi and parks. "

"Enjoyed our start at the Royal Hotel Carlton. The proximity to the Central train station was convenient for our arrival from Florence as well as our departure to the airport the next day. It’s also a 15 min walk from the Piazza Maggiore which made it easy to explore Bologna for the day we were there."
