"Very clean room fab bar and a great location "

"Centrally located and a safe, clean, and comfortable space to come back to after busy days exploring London. The lobby is quite busy with folks working and enjoying the space, but never found it hard to grab a seat and a coffee before heading out for the day. Would stay here again. "

"Room was small but is good for a base,was a bit noisey outside at night because of the 2 pubs outside the window but that didnt last past midnight. there was no aircon in the room but it wasnt really warm, bed was comfy. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection, there could have been a bar to go into for a drink but nothing not even a restaurant for a meal. "

"The hotel was clean and looked nicely renovated. My main problems were the mattress was springy and soft. The walls were also very thin, so you can hear everything including footsteps from room above and snoring from room next door (not joking!!). I stayed only for 2 nights and it was convenient to be close to Kings Cross."

"Overall great experience at Strand Palace. Fabulous location in Covent Garden with access to restaurants, stores, theatre and three different Underground stations each within 1/4. Lovely, clean and updated rooms and lobby. Staff very helpful. Breakfast great and plentiful. I would stay again there for sure. "

"We arrived just before 12pm and placed our suitcase into the concierge which is excellent. We did this as we could not check in until 3pm and therefore went sightseeing into London for the day. When we came back at 8.30pm we found our room was still not ready as they had not placed a bed for my daughter in the room which was requested prior. The staff took another 60 mins to put a bed into our room so our daughter couldn't go to bed when she wanted to. The staff apologised but it came across like we were in the wrong in how they spoke. Nothing provided to us to apologise for this inconvenience. In addition our hotel window was broken and the air con didn't really work so the room was very hot. The hotel views are amazing and the location is great for tourists looking to explore London. However the hotel does look tired and does need a revamp. "

"The hotel rooms were quiet, and the staff were very friendly and unobtrusive. The location also cannot be beat. We would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it!"
