"It was one of the best hotels that I ever stayed in. My girlfriend and I had a great time. The indoor pool was the best indoor pool I've ever seen. I just wish they would have had a hot tub also. We definitely plan on staying there again."

"No shampoo or body wash was in the room and they never brought us one even though we asked for them multiple times. Long check in line and very slow process. Garbage from previous occupants was still in the room. Toilets were not clean. Restaurants were not functioning well and only provided pizza. Awful stay. We won’t be back."

"The rooms were clean but the hotel was being renovated, so the lobby and elevator was in poor condition. Housekeeping was vacuuming the floor right outside room before late check out. The vacuum is mad loud. I think it’s time for a new one. Overall my stay was ok. The hotel served its purpose for an overnight stay. "

"I stayed at this run-down motel in the Poconos where the experience fell far short of expectations. The bathtub was dirty, which made the bathroom feel unclean and uncomfortable. The receptionist at the front desk assisted us while wearing a bathrobe and pajamas, which came across as unprofessional for a hotel check-in setting. During check-in, she claimed there was no reservation under our name, but when I mentioned I would call Expedia and showed her the email receipt on my phone, she miraculously found it. To top it off, there was no hot water, forcing us to take cold showers and deal with the disruption to our plans and comfort."

"I stayed at The Swiftwater, and unfortunately, it wasn’t family-friendly as we expected. Kids had to leave the pool after 5 p.m., but this wasn’t mentioned on the website. Beyond that, customer service was lacking. Staff rarely smiled or engaged with us, and when we went to the bar after last call, there was no effort to accommodate even a simple request. While the property itself is beautiful and new, the hospitality was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it for families, and I think management needs to make major changes in staffing and approach."

"The hotel itself is pretty solid, especially for the price, it looks like they’re slowly fixing everything up as the pool and some machines are out of order, but the staff is always busy. Would definitely book again, just keep in mind the rooms are old but they’re still great and comfy to relax and have fun. "

"Breakfast was delicious, and accommodations were very comfortable. The owners were friendly and inviting. They had plenty of little perks and the pastries were very good! Highly recommend for a quaint place away from the touristy spots in the Poconos. We plan to go back again!"
