"The cottages are behind cow sheds and when I arrived felt like being not inhabited. Looked a bit run down. The interior of the cottage was perfect, the door however did not lock and travelling alone, I did not close an eye. It then was fixed the following day, although I did not say anything. Then a handy man was fixing and painting the cottage next to the one I was in, and suddenly he was painting shatters and fence while I was in the cottage. Obviously I was disturbed by the smell. "This was a really beautiful place to stay, but the front office was just awful. No help or information whatsoever in trying to accommodate the guests in information about the hotel, the surrounding area and things to do in the hotel. In addition, one day our room was not cleaned and the front desk didn’t want to compensate in any manner except that they were “sorry”. Didn’t even offer anything to help rectify the mistake."
