"It was nice location, very near from a tram/bus station and city center of Dogo and Matsuyama. There are some supermarkets, onsens and post office in 15-minutes walk. The accommodation itself was just a house and it's located in the residential area so it was very quiet. 住宅地のど真ん中にあり、普通の民家でした。いい意味でも悪い意味でも「暮らすため」の家ですので、羽目を外し過ぎないよう、泊る側は気を遣う必要があるかと思います。でもその分、キッチンや洗濯機があり、長逗留や、松山に土地勘のある人なら、価値を利用し尽くせる滞在場所と言えるかと思います。 "

"This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station...

"My friend and I stayed for 1 night at Kominka Mitsuhama Ryokan in early November. We were very surprised by how much thought and effort was put into decorating this 100 year old house. It was truly an unforgettable experience staying there. Our host was like a cherry on top of the whole experience. Even though we could only communicate in broken Japanese, he prepared English instructions for us so communication was not a problem. When we checked out, he even gave us a handwritten note and two...

"This is an excellent hotel a five minute walk from the JR Matsuyama City station. The hotel rooms were clean and air-conditioned and the amenities were good. I would specially commend this hotel for the excellent breakfast spread. It's very much a Japanese breakfast, but the variety was amazing. I would stay at this hotel again just for the breakfast."
