"The whole hotel smelled of smoke. I had to wear a breathing mask to bed. The shared bathroom assignments were confusingly marked. My mattress was damaged with a lengthwise divot. This hotel is in the city's party area. This was the last affordable Expedia listings for my night near the train station. It was a holiday weekend and most of the other customers were partiers or hook-ups. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel."

"We stayed in 3 Intergate hotels during our stay in Japan. They are all clean, friendly, well situated and dependable. On top of that they all have a happy hour with complimentary drinks and snacks between 5-7pm which is a nice touch "
"This is a well appointed hotel with an excellent location for the Shinkansen and local transportation. Our room was clean and spacious. Dining options in the hotel and vicinity are good. I would happily stay here again. "
"Although I had a small room for a single, I found that it was well organized and efficient. I had a beautiful view of the river and city to make up for the room size though. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I enjoyed the lunch at the cafe and lived their potato and cheese pizza! The neighborhood was quiet and close to the main station too. "
"Excellent Stay at APA Hotel Hiroshima-Ekimae Shikansenguchi.
I recently had a fantastic stay at the APA Hotel Hiroshima-Ekimae Ohashi and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
The location is incredibly convenient, just a short 5-6 minute walk from Hiroshima Station, which makes traveling around the city and beyond extremely easy. It's also close to convenience stores and dining options.
The hotel itself maintains a high standard of cleanliness. My room, while typically compact for a Japanese business hotel, was spotlessly clean and very well-appointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep.
A major highlight was the excellent facilities, particularly the indoor public bath and hot springs—a perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and helpful, making check-in and any inquiries a breeze.
If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and conveniently located hotel with great amenities in Hiroshima, the APA Hotel Hiroshima-Ekimae Shinkansenguchi is an outstanding choice and offers great value for money."
