"I was visiting family so out of the room from roughly 11:00am - 11:30. The first night sleeping was uncomfortable due to what were not even extreme temperatures. I asked the receptionist for a fan to be delivered to my room and she confirmed this would happen as I had an option to borrow one locally. I returned back to the room after 11pm and the fan wasn't there after undressing ready for bed I should have contacted reception again as I had another uncomfortable night's sleep. Disappointed!"

"Love this hotel, stayed here a lot over the years, only issue is the lifts are temperamental at times. And the WiFi is really bad in certain rooms. Takes a while to get it work, but laggy.. so I think that needs looking into. Other than that, love staying.. Will in the future"

"Staff was very helpful in answering questions and arranged our taxi from the hotel to the airport. Location is very close to train station and walking distance to Cardiff Castle, restaurants, and many other amenities. The room was comfortable and very clean. Bed was good and the air conditioning appreciated."

"The rooms were hot as sun facing windows couldn't open. Water pressure was extremely low in 1 of our 3 rooms. One of the two lifts were not working which could lead to a long wait."

"Lovely place for a couple to stay. The rooms had real charm with the period furniture, although the ceiling picture was a bit strange. Huge jacuzzi bath. Lovely breakfast room. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again. Just a few minutes walk to the bay where there's lots of places to eat and and interesting walk."
