The place is good and has an excellent location but they have many areas to improve, for example the cleanliness and attention to the guests since during our entire stay we did not see any of the staff clean the room, we had 4 power cuts that the hotel was not even aware of, we had to be calling the reception or looking for someone to fix it.

Nous sommes restĂ©s 2 nuits dans cet Ă©tablissement. Le confort est sommaire, il n’y a pas d’eau chaude. Les fenĂȘtres ne se ferment pas vraiment donc on sentait l’odeur extĂ©rieure dans la chambre. La climatisation fonctionnait correctement. Le petit dĂ©jeuner et l’accĂšs Ă  la piscine de l’hĂŽtel Spa Villa Karang est un plus.

Beautiful Villa (Make sure you read fine print)

Staff was more than accommodating. Had a few issues upon arrival with the accommodation type chosen (the cheapest rooms are quite a bit from the beach and run down, they are not as the reception area is). The hotel took care of the misunderstanding with the utmost customer service. The rooms in the bungalows and two story white building are beautiful. The pool is as pictured. Breakfast on the beachfront was lovely each morning. Walking distance to everywhere, but rent a bike, mask and snorkel! It’s more fun. (NOTE: there are no motorized vehicles, travel light to avoid hiring a donkey!) Pool deck has ample space for yoga too! There was no attendant at the pool, which I would have enjoyed. The WiFi was good and ac cooled the room.

Do not stay at the home stay. The room was gross not even a top sheet on the bed just a brown fuzzy blanket. The walls and curtains were stained there was a tiny window in a tiny room that felt like a prison cell. Only positive thing was a/c seemed to work. I went to the main property and upgraded to stay there which was much much better!!! I’d suggest the villa Karang main property NOT the home stay that’s affiliated.

Did not like it, but all other reviews are good so not sure. Stayed in a better homestay for half the price. But you can use the hotels facilities, such as the pool.

Ok fĂŒr eine nacht mehr nicht

Ich wurde zwar herzlich empfangen und erhielt ein kaltes tuch und ein glas saft zum empfang jedoch war das zimmer im homestay nicht sehr schön. Ich war 3 nĂ€chte dort. Ich habe nicht grosse ansprĂŒche aber konnte wegen der AC nicht so gut schlafen da sie so laut war.. die kissen hatten leider schimmel wurden jedoch ausgetauscht. Das bad mĂŒffelte ziemlich stark. FĂŒr eine nacht wĂ€re es ok gewesen 3 waren jedoch zu lange in so einem zimmer. Vielleicht habe ich auch einfach ein altes zimmer erwischt. Ich habe ja auch nicht viel zeit im zimmer verbracht und der preis war gĂŒnstig jedoch war das zimmer leider ungenĂŒgend fĂŒr mich. Hatte trotzdem eine schöne zeit auf gili air!

Man fÄr ju vad man betalar för. Men lakan och handdukar hade en sunkig fÀrg gamla flÀckar som inte var borta. Extremt lyhört och vakna av ceremonin som kördes pÄ morgonen frÄn 4:45-5:15... Valde att ha skor pÄ mig inne dÄ de var smutsigts pÄ golvet. Kuddarna var jÀtte bra. Personalen var vÀldigt trevliga.

En un mot “incredible” Sachez que vous bĂ©nĂ©ficiez des avantages de l’hotel ( petit dej version buffet Ă  volontĂ© et de la piscine ) Le personnel est chaleureux et est Ă  votre service. Seul pts nĂ©gatif la chambre 506 (pb malodorante de sdb, le mĂ©nage qui n’est pas fait quotidiennement et la poubelle devant l’entree Qui n’est pas vidĂ©e et qui attire les moucherons) sinon tout Ă©tait parfait. J’y reviendrais sans hĂ©siter :)

Close to the boat dock

It's central to where you get off the boat, so that was a plus. There are also a lot of restaurants along the strip. This homestay is a bit off the beaten track, but I liked that and it felt really private. The amenities from the bigger hotel are also included. We were welcomed with orange juice and a cold towel. It was pleasant. The room is small but includes everything you need, especially a/c. There are also drying racks available for when you swim and need a place to dry your suits. I would definitely recommend this place for the island!

Value for money!

Super fint hotel vÊrelse, til billige penge. Det er gartnere rundt om vÊrelserne som hele tiden sÞrger for der ser rent og pÊnt ud. Ingen varmt vand, men som dansk viking er der ikke den udfordring man ikke kan klare ;-) Man tjekker ind ved nabo hotellet, og det er deres faciliteter man har lov til at bruge. Deres morgenmadsbuffet inkl i vÊrelsesprisen ( massere af valgmuligheder), poolomrÄde og liggestole, poolhÄndklÊder. FuldstÊndig fantastik hjemmelavet Êble/annanas syltetÞj med kanel og vanilje. Mmhhh - kom tidligt, den forsvinder hurtigt ;-) Rigtig god service fra personalet, tjek ind nemt og hurtigt. Alle rigtig sÞde :-) NÊste gang ville jeg efterspÞrge et lagn fremfor det uldtÊppe der er pÄ vÊrelset. Det er for varmt og krÊdser lidt :-) Kunne se de havde vÊret inde og rede seng, men der var ikke blevet skiftet sengetÞj eller hÄndklÊder. BademÄtten var dog skiftet. Lidt sjovt det hele ikke bare for en omgang. Men hvis jeg havde bedt om det pÄ hotellet, er jeg sikker pÄ de ville have skiftet uden at tÞve, men det gjorde os ikke noget.

Great budget option that allows you to enjoy hotel facilities and breakfast (minus plush room) at price of a homestay. Room is very small and basic but staff are attentive, room was as clean as it could be. Great budget option for a couple of nights on Gili Air.

Une homestay placĂ© juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de l'hĂŽtel (portant le mĂȘme nom). AccĂšs Ă  la piscine de l'hotel ! Et un buffet comme petit dĂ©jeunĂ©. Chambre propre. Petit bĂ©mol, les serviettes de bain ne sont pas toujours propres et ne sont pas changĂ©es tous les jours (si elles sont sales).

The internet hardly worked and the power kept turning off. The air con made a lot of noise and the walls are paper thin. Not the best for traveling alone. Nice pool at the main facility.

Bra men vissa saker gjorde vÄr vistelse mindre bra

Första intrycket var bra, men det blev tyvÀrr sÀmre... Detta Àr ett homestay som tillhör ett större hotell. Man fÄr tillgÄng till hotellpoolen och Àter frukostbuffé dÀr som Àr bra! Trevlig personal i receptionen, rummen var helt okej med tanke pÄ priset man betalade. Men, dÄ till det sÀmre... Vi bodde i rum 513, och ACn lÀt som bra den emellanÄt! Den kunde surra lite tyst i tio min för att sedan ge ifrÄn sig ett ljud som nÀstan vÀckte en under natten! De gick ocksÄ in och stÀdade rummet Àven att man inte sagt till, visst det Àr vÀl bra - men samtidigt lÄg aaalla vÄra vÀrdesaker framme dÄ eftersom vi tÀnkte att ingen skulle gÄ in dÀr... Wifiet var aningen segt men dög. Sen, till det sÀmsta; nÀst sista kvÀllen slutade vattnet fungera i vÄr dusch. Efter tre tillsÀgningar med x antal timmar emellan skickade de in fem mÀn som klampade runt och smutsade ner och plockade isÀr hela duschen utan resultat. Receptionisten föreslog att vi skulle duscha i poolduschen... VÄr sista kvÀll (fortfarande utan dusch) föreslog de en flytt men vi tackade nej dÄ vi skulle Äka tidigt pÄ morgonen. I övrigt, bra stÀlle. Men bo inte i 513 haha.
