"Such a wonderful property in every way - this restored Tuscan farmhouse has been updated with all the modern comforts while preserving its Italian past. We stayed for three nights over a weekend and loved it so much we booked the same place for the next weekend! The rooms are great, bedding delicious, and breakfast a treat… The grounds are exquisitely landscaped and maintained, with amazing views stretching from mountains to sea… The staff was amazing from check in to check out; always friendly and super response to any queries. You will feel welcomed and at home immediately upon arrival and will long to return when you leave!"

"Pros- breakfast was simple but very good, breakfast room was cute. The ladies who worked the breakfast in the mornings were all so nice. View was nice. Room was fine for the most part. Valeria was especially lovely Cons- the noise was crazy. You could hear people walking, talking, showering all hours of the night. The shower was so tight I was banging my elbows when washing my hair. I asked for a room upgrade and was shown a better room so we decided to take it, but when we brought all of our luggage down to the front desk, we were then informed that it was only available for a partial part of our stay. This wasn’t communicated when I was taken to see the room, so it felt like a big waste of time and energy. The street parking was basically non existent. We had to park about 400m away and walk back. We wouldn’t stay here again, but I also don’t recommend against it. It wasn’t terrible. It just wasn’t for us."

"Il Pellicano is a dream. The property is stunning and exquisitely maintained. The views are breathtaking. The staff is most gracious. The perfect place for a peaceful and restorative getaway. We tried both dining options for dinner--the informal as well as the Michelin-starred dining room--and both were excellent. The latter was one of the best meals we've ever had anywhere, and we're serious food people who live in New York. We'll be back."
