"The hotel interior is beautifully designed and the riverside garden immaculate. However it lacked the service we expected. No lunch time bar snacks but the restaurant opposite offers a full lunch and dinner menu. The additional charge for breakfast was excessive. The hotel is outside the town of Corte so we needed a taxi to and from the railway station which was very expensive given the short distance."

"We stayed one night and arrived at 9pm, straight off the ferry (it’s quite a drive). When we arrived the restaurant was closed, but there was a super pizza restaurant about 5kms away… great find, fun owner!! The refuge has great views and it’s a must in terms of driving in and out to the south. Put it on your list!!"
